Since the very beginning, Rae Feather has been a journey driven by community. While we are proud to work with skilled artisans across the globe and sustainably source our fabrics worldwide, we also want to make a difference locally.
    
Hand painted personalisation has become our brand signature. From our straw baskets to our cosy sheepskin slippers, our stripe motif and monogram are unmistakable.
 
     
   The Rae Feather HQ is based in the heart of the Oxfordshire countryside, and we are proud to work with an ever growing team of talented painters all based right on our doorstep. Hand painting is no mean feat; it requires skill, precision and impeccable attention to detail. All our painters are locally sourced; we connect with future painters via community Facebook groups. We offer flexible work for those who may struggle to travel beyond the local area, are restricted by school pick-up times, need short-term work or are looking to get back into work after raising a family. We also regularly work with students during holidays or before setting off for University. 
    
Our painters are a vital part of the team and we work closely to conceive new design ideas, colourways and concepts. Whether with us for a short period or long-term, we count each and every painter as a cherished part of the Rae Feather family.
