Summer Style
The longest Winter is behind us. Spring hasn't really sprung but I feel very confident that Summer will be kind to us - truly I do!!
I am going to go straight in and talk about what we are all going to wear. I was thinking today how much black and white I used to wear. Now I barely wear it at all. In fact, when I even think about it I get cross with myself for being so boring. don't get me wrong it can look uber chic but lets be honest we are all more than ready for a little fun.
My latest collection is all about colour. It’s about bright beautiful colours that will make us feel confident and happy. In addition I read an article in Vogue online the other day: A quote that so resonated with me was "we used to dress to look good, we now dress to feel good". I think this is so great and its really what I’ve tried to encapsulate throughout the collection. Pieces that will hopefully make you feel great.
Our Organic Sweats have been this Winters go to pieces for comfort and convenience. Easy to wear and at the same time smart in the realms of trackies. These pieces will remain constants moving forward and our latest colours of pink and white will work wonderfully for Summer. Team them up with any of our cotton shirts and they no longer look like a trace, more like a relaxed pant. They have replaced the blue jean in my life. I wear the white harem with almost everything but, my fav look is the Hareem with the Blake Cotton shirt. Oversized yet super smart. Its more like a Dad shirt and works in a million different ways.
The Billy Bottoms were a sell out and new collars in the will launch next week in stone washed Blue and stone washed Khaki.
Summer BBQ's would never be complete in the UK without the obligatory sweater. Heavy knits can sometimes be too much so we have created a knit that is a little cooler yet super cosy. Our Boyfriend Sweater and Sleeveless Tanks are pieces ups will wear all year. I rarely leave home without a sweater over my shoulders. Currently we have Chambray Blue and a warm pink and coming soon is the Winter White and classic navy.
I, as you all know, am a sucker for a white shirt. Not just any old white shirt. It has to be right. I adore Indian cotton and out latest addition, the Elodie Top is so lovely. Hand pleated detail is so beautiful. This piece also comes in a dress and it is dreamy. The top works so well with jeans or super summery with our cheesecloth pants.
The other white shirt which everyone should have in their wardrobe is the Nicola Shirt dress. Super smart, a true classic and one to that will work so hard for you. Teamed up with one of our tabards, it's a super smart look.
A combo I can not wait to wear is the Fifi Top and Skirt. Easy, girly, swirly and fun. Skirt is available in both blue and red. and in the same fabric, the Dolly Dress is a winner. Easy to wear, stylish and ticks so many boxes.
Finally for today, our Mykonos Collection is really special. Inspired by images of dreamy Mykonos, these pieces, a tunic top, dress and robe are flattering, flowly, feminine and soooo fresh.
Sadly we have had to delay our shoe collection and I would like to apologise to those of you who were disappointed. We are working on a getting them back online asap.
