AW 24/25 - My inspiration.

Dear All

i hope you’re really well and have had a great Summer.

I’ve mentioned this before but September is my New Year. I think maybe it stems back from childhood to then having my own kids and the return back to school after a long summer break. I used to loathe September and whilst I’m a real advocate of routine, I loved longer morning cuddles with the boys, lazy breakfasts and not caring if they were still in their Superman PJ’s at noon.

I’m a HUGE fan of Autumn  I love the change in seasons, the odd Indian summer day, the light, the leaves changing colour and the odd open fire. All these things have played a part in the inspiration behind our new collection.

I was born and raised in Ireland but left to study in the UK when I was 18. I went back and visited my family very regularly and spoke to them daily but my home was in Oxfordshire.
For various reasons  over that last 10 years I found myself going back to Ireland a lot more. I discovered a new found love of the town that I was born, the North Coast were we holidayed as kids, the culture, the people and places of enormous beauty that I did not know existed.

This collection is about comfort, safety  and familiarity. A collection based on things you will reach for again and again, that look great and make you feel great. Comfort is at the heart of every single piece.
I am crazy for a gilet. For me they are like a  little coat of armour - I know that might sound a little dramatic but there is something so comforting and secure about a gilet. This season the Zipped Gillet and the Boucle are my personal favs.
The Tralee in cream and of course navy, the sweater I know I am going to reach for time and time again this Autumn , not too heavy with a loose polo neck.
Barrel Leg Jeans, the buzz word in the world of jean shapes are going to be ever present this Autumn. First drop, our Denim workman barrel leg with black and khaki coming soon.
The Celine, our every day crew neck 100% wool sweater - so useful and very chic.
Our first wide leg jean, the Jude, sure to make your legs. go one for miles and miles
I don't know about you but I find it increasingly difficult to get a great tailored trouser. A trouser that will take you everywhere. One you can wear with a trainer, a smart flat or a heel. Well the Georgie and Polly tick these boxes. Made from a wool composition they are really flattering and very smart.
I am delighted with this season's shirting. Our stripe collarless, with an elevated cuff design. The Josie, back for another year as it was an almost instant sellout last AW. The Piper my personal fav and the Rosie with a removable collar in gingham.
I could go on all day but suffice to say no matter what, my aim is always to create ‘keepers’ – pieces that have staying power both aesthetically and quality wise. Not only do our collections look good but they are affordable, they work hard for us and best of all they are super comfortable. In my book, comfort is the greatest luxury.
Lots more to come - cannot wait to share.
Please shout if I can help with anything!
Hope you enjoy the collection as much I we have enjoyed creating it.
Lots of love and Happy New Year!!
